CABAL Force Blader Essential Skills At The Warfare

Yesterday when I was cleaning up my hard drive, I stumbled upon my old CABAL Online screenshots which happens to be me carrying the Legacy Weapon during a war at the Tierra Gloriosa map (well this happens to everyone in most wars). So I thought of writing something about "Force Bladers at wars" to fill up my blog posts. Here it goes...

FBs are often expected to be weak at wars (yah I know, low attack/defense/hp) and really they can hardly put a last hit on dying foes ("thanks" to fellow Bladers and Warriors). Well, that doesn't mean we can't kill, our Assassinate still deals a heck lot of damage. Thus, FBs generally play the supporter role by utilizing their almighty debuff skills.

Now, you should understand that war is not pvp, they are total different stories, you have to use different strategies.

Skills
These are some of the must have skills for FB before going into the battlefield:

Dash
I guess there's nothing much for me to say on this...

Fade Step
ALWAYS do fade steps when you're under attack. Remember, it's 100 vs 100 out there (at least 40+ people will be in the same spot), so when your opponent lost you, he would probably target someone else that appears on his sight. Then, you can make your counter-attack.

Assassinate
Don't forget you're in a WAR, not a one on one fair fight, so don't expect to pull out a complete combo. In fact, pulling off a combo means making yourself more vulnerable for others to attack you since you can't fade step or dash away immediately. Hit and run is the best technique in the middle of the warfare. Use Assassinate, then fade step or dash away, wait for it to cool down, then launch an attack again.

Infernal Impact
Your secondary attack skill, use it while waiting for Assassinate's cool down.

Field of Execration
The most useful supporting debuff skill in war. With this skill, you can immobilize a large crowd of opponents within a range of 10, preventing them from escaping or charging into you and your teammates. Your team can easily gang bang (all on one) and finish them off quickly before the execration effect ends.

Field of Enervation
Use this skill soon after Field of Execration to weaken your foes, lowering their overall stats (HP, Mp, Att, Def, Rate, etc.).

Mana Freeze
This skill can only be casted on ONE opponent, so make sure you choose the most threatening one (Warrior or Blader), rendering them useless for 10seconds. Probably won't work with other classes since FA, FB, FS, Wiz can have more than 1400MP at high levels.

Force Enchanter (Battle Mode 1)
FBs Ultimate Skill!! Of course before you activate it, make sure you have earth, aqua, wind, lightning canon all at lvl20. However, don't expect youself to be "invincible" using BM1, you're just a little bit stronger than the others, you'll still die when you got gang banged. Remember to keep some SP for crucial stages such as when your base is under attack or when you are going to charge into your opponents base.

Battle Aura
Battle Mode not enough for you? Increase your rage by using BM+Aura!!!


Equipments
Still the same old thing, Crit/Amp/Hp [Once you entered Tierra Gloriosa, your MAX HP will increase by 500% (no effect on normal potions) and Damage increase by 400%]. Gears preferably (armourset/battleset/terragrace +6/7):

  • 2 ring of luck+2
  • Amulet of Battler (remember HP it gives X5)
  • Double Slotted Deathblow Helm Full Crit Damage
  • Double Slotted Crit Damage Osmium (or higher) Blade / Lapis (or higher) Crystal (Deathblow if possible)
  • Amp/HP or HP/HP Double Slotted Suit (Crafted Will or Amp if possible)
  • HP Double Slotted Boots (Crafted Will if possible) or Amp+HP boots (rare)
  • Gloves crafted guard/destruction slot anything or Amp(rare)
  • 2 Vital Earrings
  • 2 Bracelet of Fighters +1 or above
  • Epaulette of Fighter +6 or above
  • Astral Board if possible


War Tips
Party with Force Archer/Warrior/Shielder
Having a Force Archer in your party is a must because FA is the one and only mass healer. Normal potions cannot recover much of your HP since they are not X5. Most of the time you'll be hearing people yelling "Please Heal Me!" or "FA Heal!" or "Buff Me!". Warriors on the other hand, have +MAX HP party buff and its 500% more on TG. As for Shielders party buff, I'm not sure if FB can get it, maybe the lvl140 rank up quest should be done to stack buffs, but some other class can.

Stay Alive
As I said, hit and run, always fade step, use debuffs at the right timing. FBs are easy preys for Warriors and Bladers. Staying alive at the battlefield is as important as getting kills. Every death causes you to loose points and more deaths will gradually make your nation loose.

Teamwork!
Don't try to be a hero or rambo and please don't act like one. Don't just simply rush through your frontline and start slashing enemies you see, it's just like jumping into a black hole (point of no return). Your job is to immobilize and weaken your enemies before going in the fight and Shielders/Warriors/Bladers should be in front of you. Gang bang your target (all on one), attack an enemy together with teammates.

Avoid Mighty Shielders
Try not to aim for shielders because you won't deal any real damage on them especially when they are using their damage absorb buff, let Warriors/Bladers/Wiz do the job.

Grab The Legacy Weapon!
Upon occupying a position you'll get items such as Legacy Weapon and amp potions. How the Legacy Weapon looks like? I don't know how to describe it but it looks like a Transformer Cube, right click on it and you'll be holding your Legacy Weapons depending on your class. This is me holding it (click to enlarge):

so u mean as long char tat have mp more den 1400
mana freeze is useless ?
its dun affect char more den 1400mp ?

To put it simple, when a char with 1450MP is casted Mana Freeze lvl20 (-1400MP), the char will have 50MP left. He/She can still use any skills that cost 50MP or less.

by the way what about BM1? How do I use my BM1 since my BM is more than 1 level?

BM1 means Battle Mode 1 which is Force Enchanter and BM2 is Blader Shooter, for FB.

Yes but remember to keep a few SP bars so you can use them later when you are charging into your opponents' base or when your opponents are charging into your base. It is also better to use Aura along with Battle Mode 1 and try not to use BM2 because it doesn't give good damage.

can u pls tell me how to put to specific option on the slotted equipment...for example,how can i have a deathblow option on the helm???how many force core and what force core do i have to use???and what catalyst to i have to add???the same goes to the other options needed???

There's no space here for me to explain all that. I recommend you to read this in-depth ugrading guide.

Deathblow is not an upgrade, you can only get it by crafting. Read this basic crafting guide to know more.

After you read both of the guides, you'll have a clear view about the basics of upgrading and crafting, and the difference between them.

what about Magic,Wind,Crystal,Lightning canons
they are the top 4 greatly damage magic cannons,..can we choose these than the other you gave us?

The reason why I suggest using lightning, aqua, stone and wind canon is because they are casted as lightning blade, aqua vitality, earth guard and wind movement respectively when BM 1: Force Enchanter is activated, they are not used as attacking skills. You can have other canons as offensive skills, but these 4 canons are the main priority for FBs' BM1 and you should set their lvls as high as possible in order to gain maximum bonus from your BM1.

Out of curiosity, and since my character is still level 112, will crystal cannon and fire cannon stack on BM1 when I reach the appropriate levels? (140 for two buffs of the same type, 170 for 3 buffs of the same type) They will count as Ice Blade and Fire Blade respectively, right?

No, they won't stack in BM1 even if you are class rank 15 or 18, so you only have to use lightning canon lvl20 for max attack bonus in BM1. Only normal enchant buffs will stack (lightning blade + ice blade + fire blade but not canons in BM1). That's in EURO server and I believe it's the same too in other servers.

when in bm1, can i use lighting, stone, aqua, AND wind cannons at the same time to get all 4 diff bonuses? so i'll get more att, def, def rate, and hp/mp recovery when i do all for of them. And second question, let say i do lighting cannon during bm1, dat will boost my att, then if i use a skill, does dat boost still stays until the end the bm1?

Lightning, aqua, stone and wind canons are all automatically casted once you activate BM1, so if you have all the canons, you'll get all bonuses (Att, Def, Att & Def Rate, HP, MP, regen), you don't have to cast them yourself. All the bonuses stays until your BM1 ends.

uhm.. on what you say FB's are mainly just support types.. i dunno bout that..
i am lvl 143 and still cant stack buffs but i can pwn 2BL's and 1FS at same time if they werent in BM and ofcourse with some lil strategy while fighting(i dont have good equips but decent enough), and another thing.. the equips.. i rather say if you have good vamp equips.. use it on war.. it helps you to stay longer in war rather than equiping rol's and bof's, i hit prolly arround 4 to 6k with assasinate on a person in war and if you have 10% absorb +vamp accesories... it would mean that you get arround 500hp per skill that you use. and at war you hit lots of people at same time.. then you prolly get more than 500 hp per skill.. that helps me a lot i only equip my rol's while killing the ensign of the enemy XD(i crit 24k on ensign thats why XD)and last thing.. party with FA is a must?? i think no, they prolly doing something else while in war, i think it would be a must to party with WI's coz they can cast their skill to regen sp's faster so you can use your BM's more frequently :D thats all i wanna say thank

No problem, I think this guide was old so the advices here isn't really gonna work anymore except the thing it says "hit and run is the key"
but sometimes that wont work, in fact it can mess up things too. for example while invading enemy base and killing guardians we all know they are gonna come there and protect it, and once they got there and they have stronger force we tend to hit and run the guardian.. this strat wont work against guardian and you might just reset the guardian and bring it back to full HP,(i dont use fade at all in NW Lol) what i do is if ur about to die while killing guardians(about 4k left HP) then cast exe on guardian then run away,wait till you can use vital gear then go back to the action,and about the vamp gears, i just recently discovered that I thought vamp gears are weak and kept my rol's on, but when someone explained to me how it works i tried it on while on war and i lasted much longer on the crowd(sometimes I last longer than WA and Im the one left while attacking enemy base).And dont feel bad about the guid saying FB are mainly for support, FB's can PWN 3 to 5 enemies at same time at war,"atleast i did pwn 5 enemies at same time while on BM1 :P" anyways FB's are really usefull in war debuffs (def/def rate down) is our main thing to use against guardians of bases and enervation/field enervation is the top de-buff against other characters(enemies).

Yeah it was my final guide right before I officially retire from CABAL Online (was in Euro server) probably more than 8 months already, so I guess the strats are a bit out of date.

Really appreciate for your tips on Nation War, Sazuzaki, thanks a lot. It'll really help others to improve their FBs especially in Nation Wars.

no problem man, I'll leave comments here whenever i find some new strat for FB's on war (I cant pwn enyone on pvp's coz of lack of equips XD) but in war it doesnt matter if you got great equips coz of the Legacy weapon that can be picked up during war, speaking of LW's (legacy weapons), heres another tip,

For small scal wars (usually happens at 11pm-2am wars PST)you will prolly have 10 people max in this kind of war, advice on people on this war that got LW's with them, DONT DIE, whatever it takes for you to live even if you run away its ok, at this type of war whoever have more LW's on their side got a bigger chance to win, I give you once example,
Me and my friend who is an FA vs 6 people who subtituted to try to defeat us, we got LW dominance wich means all the LW's is on our side( we killed them right after they get 3 bases and picked up LW's that they have) after killing them me and my friend stacked 2 guardians and killed two at the same time on our BM modes(guardians didnt last 2 mins XD) and while she is building res/warp towers on the 3 bases we got me in the meantime killing the enemies that tries to kill my friend while building towers, at this point we got same amount of bases but we are on the lead coz we killed them more and we got more Towers on our side(building towers add's up to your score too) we just remaind the situation killing them and running if we are about to die to so they wont get any LW's(LW's can make you almost twice as strong as you are with your own weapons)

Hey dude, you might not know but i am Filipino too LOL, playing CABAL NA tho, anyways as for skills to get, i pretty much have every skill in sword starting from G.master, all of them are in lvl 9 (lvl 9 has the quickest Cool down time).
The only thing you can do is your combo arrangements, if i combo in NW i normally use 3 skill combo wich is assasinate/stigma/impact.
I just repeat this 3 and its very effective but as of pvp wise i use a variety of combo (normally i re-arrange my combo every single pvp) to confuse the enemy so they will have a hard time countering your combo, but as of mFS,WI and FA, combo you wanna use is the fastest skills you can cast therefore your gonna use g.master skills and up often. as of that i normally use this combo
F.kick/F.assault/F.slash/assasinate/F.assault/F.slash/I.impact
this is the most effective combo that i used against magic user class such as mFS/WI and FA

and buff skills, all i can say is i only have exe,feild exe,enervation,feild enervation lvl 9 def down and lvl 9 def rate down, (to make my cannons lvl 20 i have to save skill points so this are the only ones i have for debuff, i got aqua vitality,earth guard,lightning blade,ice blade(since im lvl 140+ i can stack this with lightning), wind movement as buff skills
(reminder once you get max lvl 170 you can stack fire blade with ice and lightning blade as well)

yes, the two rings of luck +2 will give u a total of 30 crit rate. and for leveling to 50, all i can say is that for 32 to 40 fight in parties and if ur alone use ur battle aura to help u out in fights against strong monsters. i say to use battle aura because when ur in bm1 ur regular buffs dont apply, only the cannon buffs do and being a low lvl i recommend not bying lances or blasts but to save ur skill points and money to get cannons since they give larger stat bonuses. when ur lvl 40 ur buffs are all increased by 50% duration so do the same as thing as before. and for 50 to 65 just fight dark bladers on bm1.

and once ur level 65 i recommend doing Lake in Dusk (Map Part) with a party because you will recieve alot of exp from it. keep doing Lake in Dusk (Map Part) until u reach level 75. at level 75 i suggest doing runa station (muster card: runa station) runs, but stay at the invader mech buffalos because there you will be able to mob 15 to 20+ invader mech buffalos all at once. u will probably recieve around 10k or well over 25k exp per skill. u will need some sort of vamp gear if ur under lvl 85 in my opinion. i suggest force absorb rings +1, vamp amulets, or gloves and boots of vamp. continue to do runa station over and over until lvl 105. trust me it wont take long. i got to lvl 80 in my first run. i was with 3 lvl 75s and we all reached 80 in the first run. after that we recieved around 2 and a quater lvls each run. once ur lvl 90 it slows down to around 1 and 3/4 lvl per run. but since runa station is only a 30min dungen, gaining 5,2, or 1 lvl every 30mins isnt bad at all. so good luck and i hope this helped.

hi, i started playing cabal just this last month of MAY.. so i'm quite confused with the commands & rules (etc.) of the game. i prefer to use katana & orbs instead of blade & crystal as you were saying that it gives more attack, and i'm also using osm battleset. do i have to follow still the "STR-283 INT-227 DEX-the rest" or the one i have read on the other blog site that's "STR-227 INT-227 DEX-the rest"?? please give advise. Thank you very much!

Always remember that force bladers are not fighters. They're like specialists. A good force blader never fights fair.

Hi, i started playing on a Private server, (blazing cabal) and its EU based i think, ppl saying that on ep2 FB buffs critical rate was capped to 25% , is that true? cuz if not , we get 35% from buffs +5% base+10%rol, and there is no need to use rolx2 at all (besides on bm1 maybe), thanks ^^
